How to use this log
- Record each incident as close to when it happens as possible — contemporaneous notes carry more weight.
- Be specific: "heavy stomping and dragging furniture, woke me at 1:15 AM" beats "loud again."
- Note anyone else who heard it, and any calls or messages you sent in response.
- Keep it factual and unemotional. This may be read by a landlord, mediator, or court.
